Laser Tattoo Removal VS. Saline Removal

Both methods of Laser Tattoo Removal and Saline Removal can be great, but each has its purpose.

  • Laser Removal cannot be done prior to attempting Saline Removal to remove pigment. The pigment cannot be removed through the Saline Removal method as easily if the area has already been treated with Laser Removal. The reason for this, is because a Laser Method can embed the color into the skin making it more resistant and only then should you continue, and it moves through the lymphatic system to exit the body. Laser Tattoo Removal is ideal for any previously done Permanent Makeup that holds high amounts of carbon such as much of the tattooed brow work that was done in the 80’s & 90’s.

  • Saline removal can be done first, and then be switched over to Laser Tattoo Removal at a later time if needed. Saline is a natural solution, and will help break up some scar tissue while stimulating the collagen production. This is why Saline Removal method is therapeutic to the skin and does not cause scarring to occur.
